CREDIT CARD TERMS & CHARGES FOR ABORTED CREDIT CARD  AND DEBIT CARD ORDERS

All credit card sales are subject to a 4% approx authorisation charge not exceeding a maximum of  £1.00 in total.  E.G. if your order totals 10.00 then 40p extra will be added to cover credit card authorisation and handling.  If your order  totals 25.00   then  1.00 will be added tocover card handling charges.  If your order totals  1,000.00 you will still only be charged 1.00 for card handling.  We will compute and itemise these costs clearly on your receipt.

INSUFFICIENT FUNDS:

Please do not place a credit or debit card order with us unless you are certain that you have enough balance / credit to amply cover the sale .

We electronically authorise every sale and the credit/debit card company's computers will refuse the sale if there is not enough in your account or you are over your limit. Even if your account is only one cent/one penny short the credit card computer will reject the sale.

The picking, sorting, preparation and packing of an order, particularly one from overseas, is extremely time consuming and we cannot process your card accurately until that work is first invested in the sale.   Therefore, if  you place an order which is refused by your credit  /debit card company because of shortage of funds we will expect you to honour the sale in some other way (CASH /  Banker's Cheque  / British Postal Orders etc.,)  or by the use of a different card.

  1. If the first card you give us is rejected because of insufficient funds we will apply a £2.00 charge for re-presenting that card.
  2. If you ask us to use a different card and the sale is refused because of insufficient funds we will charge you £2.00 for that and each subsequent failure of credit/debit cards used.
  3. If you ask us to reclaim the sale by deducting item/s  to equate with your available credit that means we will have to completely rework  and repack the sale; this will be considered a separate order .  As such a reprocessing fee of  £2.00 will be applied on top of  the £2.00 re-presentation fee (see 1.).
  4. If you decide not to go ahead with the order an order cancellation fee of £5.00 will be charged to cover our time and labour.

Please do not chance using a credit / debit card if you are near your limit. Some people are pretty sloppy with their accounts and don't know their balances.  We understand that but we don't want to have to embarrass you and we don't want to have to charge you so please make sure you have enough credit/balance to cover. The ball is in your court.

Please do not order on the assumption that funds may be in your account by the time we process because we are so quick in getting orders out we may get there first and if  the sale is rejected we will charge you for our time as outlined above.

The placing of an order by credit / debit card will be deemed an acceptance of these conditions.
