You can work out the conversion for US Dollars exactly, using the Currency Converter instructions below but movements in the dollar/pound exchange rate are normally very slight, so American clients can use 1.2 ratio as a very rough guide to see how much you are spending (i.e. every £10.00 British Pounds you spend will cost you a little bit less than $20.00 US dollars ). Remember , we do not exchange your currency or tamper with rates, we just bill you in £s.(GBP), the credit/debit card companies do the conversion on your behalf and you will be charged the official exchange rate so it will always be the keenest in your favour. Thus you need only use the currency conversion facility below if you are unfamiliar with exchange rates and want to see how everything compares you don't need to do it every time you place an order. Some people get unnecessarily anxious over currency exchange but you are not being charged any more for your goods. The value here in the U.K. is the same value in the U.S. etc. Our regular U.S. / overseas clients order frequently without worry and you can too.
The Currency Converter is only a calculator - it does not perform any exchange operations, nor does it commit you to spending anything but simply works out exchange values based on up-to-the minute money-market rates. You can play with it for as long as you like.
A sample of the currency converter window is shown below. To go to the actual converter you will need to click on the Perform Currency Conversion button in the window. When you do that you will be taken to the Currency Conversion site and be shown a clean I Want To Convert window again.
This currency converter is provided here so you can gauge the value of the goods you have chosen in your own currency. It gives a very accurate guide to the day's exchange rates and trends. Currency rates move second by second but those movements are in general very small (normally fractions of a percent). The exact rate charged will therefore be the one prevailing at the moment the exchange takes place through your bank or credit card company and may be a notch up or down on the figure given.
