He's real alright, it's no gimmick. This is Marabas pictured right in the early days. He looks completely different today , many years later, with grizled hair and beard; for all the world a perfect representation of the popular idea of a wise-ard. Because these things interfere with his life's work and he will not be disuaded from disseminating the Ancient Wisdom, by clamouring cultists, manic media, envious enemies or fundamentalist fanatics. He knows the value of time; he says that his work in this lifetime is finite and that what time he has left in the autumn of his years should be spent opening further doors of perception for others, rather than playing the silly attention-getting games which are the life-breath of cultists, fanatics and the media circus which parasitically promotes them. It is this very deep understanding of the process of time which has created a reputation for brusqueness. He does not suffer fools lightly. Those who know-not have often misinterpreted this to mean that Marabas is 'difficult' to deal with. Those who have worked with him for many years will tell you that this is entirely not the case, he is a most caring and honest individual who has worked tirelessly for the benefit of others throughout his life. Marabas was warning governments of the rise of absolutist fundamentalism (both Christian and Islamic) over a decade before the twin-towers tragedy. He is publicly on record, ( in a newspaper interview weeks before it happened) as prophecying the avoidable and unncessary deaths of the Davidians in Waco by a government which was completely out of tune and ignorant of what was going on. The bombings at Oklahoma and the mind-set behind the motives of those who did it are a direct result of ignorance and prejudice - he forsaw all this. His writings have over the past decade outlined the manic suicide mentality of end-time fundamentalists and prophecied the many instances of it occurring years before the mass suicides at The Solar Temple, The Heaven's Gate cult, The Concerned Christians planned suicide attack on holy sites in Jerusalem and the terrible Christian Mass Murders of adherents in Africa recently . Oh yes, it is easy for the pundits to see the train of events NOW, with hindsight, but of what use is that? What one requires is the unique vision to be able to detect these things BEFORE they happen so as to avoid unnecessary suffering to innocents. Show me the person who would have believed the twin-towers atrocity possible ten years ago? Marabas's patience ran out after spending years alerting people who could do something about these things only to be laughed at, publicly ridiculed or viciously attacked in print by fools whose intellect was less than his. Now he leaves the deceitplomats, the poliarticians . the media-ocrities and all their 'experts' to their fate , like so many corrupt priests pawing through the entrails of dead animals, they are useless to anyone save the masters their lies serve. 'Marabas' is his outer-order magical name, used to recognise his adepthood by other seekers after Truth. Every genuine initiate has at least two magical names. One he is known by within the brotherhood which is usually taken at initiation, and another which is sacred and known only to him and his/her gods.
You will often come across poseurs on the internet with flash-sounding names , usually displaying the user's fascination with animals or past civilisations. These are not proper magical names but simply pseudonyms, mostly adopted to disguise a diminished personality and primarily designed to impress others. There is an in-joke amongst many initiates that the grander sounding the magical titles, the more inept the person is likely to be at magic. The late author and brilliant magician William G Gray used to Joke with Marabas asking, in relation to the upsurge in the number of women titling themselves High Priestesses; 'where have all the 'low' priestesses gone?' - and it is unfortunately true that egotism forms 90% of what passes for modern day occultism. Even worse are those who claim antecedence from great occultists and magicians of the past. Reincarnation is for real, but why does it always have to be a Cleopatra-esque Egyptian princess or Centurion warrior all of whom died tragic deaths? Where have all the reincarnated normal people gone? Where are the reincarnations of plumbers, potters and the rest who just did their best and lived a fruitful life? Ah yes, avoid like the plague those who are quick to tell you what you want to hear.
Genuine magical names are not chosen at random or because they sound good. They are a result of inner magical experience coupled with special magical formulas relating to the individual work the magician undertakes. They reflect his/her reincarnatory logoidal path.
