of course no inherent danger in Knowledge, which is what the occult is all
about. The danger lies in IGNORANCE. The Zero tarot card (The Fool) represents
well-meaning inexperience. Incaution and ignorance. It symbolises individuals
who are unaware of how their lives are directed either by choice, or by default.
The zero tarot card is where most newcomers to occultism are at when they
first begin their researches. As the card pictures it, they rush through
life towards the Chasm of Change without looking; devoid of the awareness
necessary to divine one's destiny. Their decisions therefore are faulty and
uninformed. People who have no occult knowledge are victims waiting for an
accident of destiny to happen. This is a state of blindness characterised
by ignorance. Adepts have known this for centuries and only recently has
science developed their Catastrophe theory to catch up! Occultism is actually
a LESS dangerous state of being because, by qualification, the genuine pursuit
of an occult path will result in learning personal techniques of transformation
which will change an unaware person into a responsible person who is made
more secure through gaining Right Knowledge and who is taught supernatural
methods of coping with negative life-forces and conditions. This stage of
our spiritual development is represented by the next card in the Tarot Major
Arcana,The Magician, or Juggler. The Magician is the newcomer who has learned
to become aware of how the elements impinge upon his/her future and who has
learned the secrets of how to keep the elemental energies in balance. Intuition,
developed powerfully by simple occult exercises, protects The Magician from
Chasms of Change which are unrequired. The Magician thereby makes right judgments
and creates a powerful and positive destiny for him or for herself. As you
can see, the Tarot, which is just one of many hundreds of proven magical
aids which we can help you with, is not in any way dangerous, as the harbingers
of doom would have you believe, but is actually a Book of Life which reflects
human development and aids your personal empowerment. This small example
shows you that the key to the use of Tarot, is not simply having the pack,

(who push their own beliefs simply because they know little about the others)
I specifically do not recommend or proselytise any aspect of the occult over
and above any other; even though I am initiated in several. I prefer instead
for people to have the freedom of choice which has for centuries been denied
them. Contrary to the disinformation regularly dolled out by the press and
the thousands of New Age charlatans who delude themselves and their followers,
superstition has nothing to do with Occultism. Occultism concerns itself
with The Supernatural, not superstition. There are real supernatural forces
which are part of our lives. I and my helpers experience these forces and
hear about others experiencing them on a daily basis. To us magick is not
conjecture; IT EXISTS. Occultism means finding the hidden keys to unlock
the secrets of these supernatural energies and learning methods to control
and understand them. Therefore the Supernatural is about aquiring hidden
knowledge. Superstition, on the other-hand, is based on ignorance and fear.
Wasting your time with the plethora of superstitious nonsense often now passed
off as occultism, is worse than not being able to access information at all
because the confusion can easily waste the most valuable posession you have.
Time. Everything which glitters is not gold for ignorance reigns within the
